Lara Stone. Hero.

Too much time for Lara Stone. So predictable i know, but look, you win some and you lose some - and what i have lost is hours wishing i had gappy teeth just like her. If she wasn't engaged to David Walliams she would be the edgiest person i know. Writing a blog without mentioning Lara would be like the Bible without Jesus. Kind of weird. What's even more weird is the fact that this will not be the only post in which i mention her. Not by a long shot.

It is what it is

Recently, I have spent most of my days explaining things with the phrase 'It is what it is'. It's not due to a sense of apathy or nonchalance about a situation, but rather a sudden sense of straight forward clarity about the things that have been going on in my life. It's the kind of nice feeling you get when you can stop to think back on something and reflect. Having interned for month after month (after month after month) i have finally landed my dream job in arguably one of the hardest industries to break into: Fashion. Keeping some perspective throughout this journey has been hard and i have shed many-a-tear, but it is what i love, and i do it because i love to. So what is this? This is something that has long been in the pipeline. It is a culmination of what i love and of what i hate. It is a self-indulgent account of every-day. It is what i talk about with my friends. It is what i see. It is what it is...
