Erdem makes me sick

When i found out Erdem Moralioglu had won the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund award i was, to be honest, a bit disappointed. Although all contenders were pretty much equally weighted, i thought Christopher Kane might have just managed to snatch the 200,000 as he consistently showed great shows season after season - he (for me) just managed to capture more of a "mood" with his work. But then i went back to look at the Erdem Spring collection again, to see if i could see what may have swayed the judges opinion, and am pretty certain that it was these 'i feel sick they are so ridiculously cool' glasses...

THE GREATEST DENIM DRESS OF THE SEASON

It's a little embarrassing how much i have swooned over the above look from Chloe's SP10 collection, and in my own little way went to re-create the denim on denim ensemble that YES is great and NO there is no debate about this. And then i got paid. And then i went shopping. And then i found THE GREATEST DENIM DRESS OF THE SEASON from Whistles. It has a mix-matched coloured denim with a clinched waist and emphasised pockets, all of which perfectly embody the flea-market vibes Hannah MacGibbon achieved for Chloe. Amaze.
